Winter Break Scrapbook Page

Our assignment was to create a scrapbook page documenting our winter break. I chose to document my family's annual Christmas fudge. I used some graphics from the internet, however I edited the colors and textures. I also added subtle drop shadows to make all the pieces of the page (the pictures and snowflake "stickers") look more realistic.

Portrait Entered for the Airport Art Show

This was the portrait that I entered for the art show at the airport.

This assignment was to create a black and white image with a splash of color.

Teeth Whitening and Retouching

This was the practice image we used to practice the teeth whitening technique.

Here is my own portrait that I retouched and used the teeth whitening technique (it's a bit dramatically and "fake-ly" retouched, but it was just practice and review).

HDR

HDR photography is adjusting the exposure of each part of an image so that the entire image is correctly exposed, instead of having very bright or very dark areas.

 This first one is a manual HDR created by using one image with Camera Raw and layer masks.

This one is a practice HDR we did at school using Photoshop's HDR program. This one combined five images instead of one.

Here are three more completed HDRs using Photoshop's HDR program to combine five images (for each final HDR, fifteen images total) that I took outside of school.

Actions

For this assignment we were supposed to download actions from the internet and apply them to our own images. I used two different vintage actions and one black and white.

Photoshop Assessment 2

This assessment required us to use 10 of our own images to create a collage using  blending modes, opacity changes, layer masks, layer adjustments, and selecting with refined edges.
