Layer Adjustments

Black & White
I made this picture of my best friend, Sarah, black and white and took out some of the pink/red and yellow tones in the hat to increase the focus on the eyes, which I enhanced by intensifying the light blue tones. I made it black and white so that the color adjustments weren't obvious and "fake" looking.

Brightness & Contrast
In the picture of my grandmother and my dog, I used brightness and contrast to bring more light onto the two subjects while also intensifying the pop of yellow in the background to add color since the subjects are both dark.

Choice
In this picture, I used hue & saturation to change the color of the elephant from red to pink and the details from yellow and blue to orange and green. I also used brightness and contrast.

Color balance
Before adding a slight blue tone with color balance, this picture was very harsh. I liked the way the colors looked and how my dog's expression looked softer.

Hue & Saturation
This picture of my nephew I changed to purple with hue & saturation to go along with the theme of silly, fun, and maybe slight confusion that his expression indicates.

Invert
This picture was inverted to make a black dog with brown eyes look like a white dog with blue eyes.

Photo Filter
It was cold and dreary out the day that I took this picture, so I added a yellow filter to make it look brighter, warmer, and sunnier to match the happy expression on my dog's face.

Saturation & Vibrance
In this picture, I change the saturation and vibrance to add a cloudy effect on the picture. I decreased the saturation to tone down the colors because the main ones are black, white, and grey, however I increased the vibrance to make the pop of blue in the eyes stand out against the other "drab" colors.

As you can tell, I tend to take a lot of pictures of my friends and family, and my dogs. :)
