For this assignment, we were to make a "Doodle 4 Google," aka decorate the Google logo to celebrate an important event or holiday. I chose to make one representing the birthday of Marilyn Monroe. I used some of her most famous symbols (floppy floral hat, red lips, beauty mark) and some of her most recognized portraits from her successful modeling career. I also added her signature in the background to play up the grey tones (I chose to make it all black and white for a retro feel, except the red lips of course, Marilyn's signature color) and add extra interest, with the final "e" darker to match the other letters in "Google."
